The heartbeat of Prayer Mountain is the Encounter Room. It's not just something we do, it's who we are – extravagent worshippers who love the presence of God!
Our primary mission and goal at PMCO is to host the presence of God so that people experience God.
The Encoutner Room is open to the public from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our mandate is to extend our hours to 24/7 as God leads. The Encounter Room has been designed to facilitate worship experiences that encourage intimate face-to-face encounters with Him. We invite you to come sit in His presence, experience His glory and goodness, and spend time in intimate worship and prayer.
All of our worship and prayer is spirit-led and based on the heavenly picture that we see in the book of Ephesians, which speaks of the Body of Christ’s position seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We fully embrace the Church's position of authority in His name, which is far above all principality, power, might, dominion, and every name that is names not only in this world, but also in the age which is to come. Our worship and prayer is "prophetic" by nature, meaning that our words are inspired by the Holy Spirit. If you have never experienced this type of worship and prayer, we invite you to come with an open heart and mind, expecting to hear His voice with clarity.
Each twelve-hour period is divided into one hour sessions, that vary in format, but include:
- Soaking Worship - An intimate, peaceful time of soaking worship with pre-recorded instrumental worship music in the Encounter Room. Guests are encouraged to "be still and know that He is God" (Psalm 46:10). As you rest in the Lord's presence, we encourage you to get comfortable in one of the encounter room recliners or floor pillows and allow His presence to minister to you.
- Prophetic Prayer – These prayer focused sessions are led by one of Prayer Mountain's prayer leaders and accompanied by either live or pre-recorded instrumental worship. They are spirit-led times of prayer focused on prophesying and praying as the Spirit leads.
- Live Prophetic Worship - A live worship and prayer session that ushers in the glory of God and the atmosphere of heaven. As His manifest presence comes, the flow of prophetic worship and prayer begins to flow.
- Corporate Worship & Prayer - An interactive corporate gathering centered around live worship and prayer. Guests are encouraged to partcipate and even come prepared to share a word, a song, or a revelation from scripture that will bless those in attendance as described in 1 Corinthians 14:26.
- Healing Worship & Prayer - A two hour worship and prayer set focused on worshipping in "the glory cloud" and partnering with the Holy Spirit to release an atmosphere of healing. If you or a loved one are in need of healing, we invite you to come expecting a miracle.
All are welcome to come and go freely and to stay in the encounter room as long as they like. While in the encounter room, feel free to join in with the worship and prayer, read, write in your journal, do visual art, dance, engage in private prayer, or soak in His presence. You may sit, stand, dance, or walk around. Whatever you do, we ask that you do it in a manner that honors and serves the other people in the room.
