The Vision
We believe in the power of God’s love to transform anyone or anything. Our vision is to be a place of Presence where people encounter God’s transforming love and truth. Our mission is to empower people to know God intimately, discover their truest selves, live supernaturally, and pursue God’s dreams for their lives. Our dream is to be and reproduce people of Presence who carry encounters and transform the world.
In November of 2006, I had a life changing encounter with the Lord. I received the scripture Haggai 1:8, “Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.” God spoke to my heart to move to Colorado to start Prayer Mountain, CO. In a vision I saw a beautiful mountain property overlooking Pikes Peak. It was to be a place dediated to hosting the presence of God through day and night worship and prayer – a place where people experienced God, encountered his power, and were equipped to expand His kingdom supernaturally. In the vision, I saw people coming from all over the world to fast, pray and experience the Lord. The presence of God was so real. People were spending hours and hours sitting in is presence weeping, laughing, and being transformed. Healings and other supernatural miracles were normal and people were being comissioned from this place walking in the power of His Spirit.
Prayer Mountain, CO was founded in October of 2009 in obedience to this vision. Since then we have been faithfully pursuing the mandate to build a ministry dedicated to hosting His presence. Much fruit has come forth and miracles are happening on a daily basis. However, the vision is much bigger than any one person or even a few can do. The partners of Prayer Mountain, CO are essential. They enable us keep our door open while we focus on hosting His presence through day and night worship and prayer. But as the Apostle Paul teaches, partnership in ministry is not just about what a ministry receives, it's also about what its partners receive. Phillipians 4:19 was a message to Paul's partners. In it he says "But my God shall supply all of your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Paul was explaining to his Philippian partners that becuase of their faithful support of his ministry, they would receive abundant provision. This is the true spirit of partnership.
