Internships at Prayer Mountain, CO
PMCO’s internship program is a 12-month commitment designed to immerse interns into a presence centered lifestyle and kingdom culture of leadership. Our program is tailored to meet both the interns calling and the ministry of the leader for whom they will intern. In addition to time spent with one’s immediate leader and learning ministry by serving, internships include individual pastoral oversight by our team, coaching, leadership training (including some sessions with our Senior Leadership team) and regular time with other interns to build relationship.
During this focused season of their lives, interns develop greater intimacy with the Lord through extended times of worship, prayer, studying the Word. They also develop the heart of servant leaders as they engage in meaningful acts of service and ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Every 12-month internship is based on a personalized 40 hour a week schedule that is developed individually with each intern during their application process. There are several distinct areas of focus that our interns can select from including:

- Children’s Ministry
- Media
- Business & Entrepreneurship
- Charis Bible College
Interns can expect a rich and fulfilling life while serving at PMCO. Relationships with leaders and fellow interns, warm and intimate classroom settings, interactive discussions, and activities planned around serving others create the environment for lasting friendships. Regular and prolonged time spent in worship and prayer creates an environment for developing deep intimacy with God. Interns find themselves growing in their ability to hear the voice of God and discern His leading in their everyday lives.

The diversity of those serving at Prayer Mountain has formed us into a wonderfully unique family where anyone can feel at home. Through PMCO Holy Spirit is raising up a generation of people who are not only whole heartedly answering the call of God on their lives, but are willing to pay the price of preparation and are committed to impacting their generation.
The internship program is a combination of skilled instruction, personal encounter, and spiritual impartation. Biblical teaching in all of the internships focuses on intimacy with God, ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit, and servant leadership. Interns also receive extensive training and practical, hands-on experience in the prophetic and healing ministries. Upon successful completion of six months of an internship, interns may apply to join PMCO’s staff.
After the internship, many will stay and join PMCO as full- or part-time ministry staff. Others will be sent out into the various spheres of influence to impact society in a variety of roles. Still others will return home strengthened in their spiritual walk with God. Still others may relocate permanently to the Pikes Peak area to work or go to college, while remaining connected to the PMCO family.
