My encounter began on arrival to Woodland Park on Thursday morning. I had my "first look" at the mountains and I was in awe! My breath was taken away as I felt the presence of God – tears of joy, peace and gratitude. I felt as though I was in the throne room of Heaven feeling a big hug from God, finally understanding His awesomeness. "How Great Though Art" kept singing in my spirit with loud speakers. During my sozo and healing time, God set me free from baggage that was hindering me. Letting the past stay in the past and forgiveness of others and myself is the most important. God has been with me all of my life. The perception of how I saw God was based on the lies told me from my youth.

_______________________________________________________

I had arthritis in the thumbs of both hands. I didn't come forward to be healed at first, but was laterer summoned when they called someone with arthritis to come forward. One person prayer over me (right hand only at first) and the pain and swelling went away. Someone else later prayed over my left hand with the same results.

_______________________________________________________

I was such a day of refreshing and love. The speaker said to receive and I was receiving like never before! Thanks so much! Prayer Mountain rocks! Out of the park!

_______________________________________________________

There was a serious breakthrough during this weekend I have been struggling with some very difficult hard spots in my life and through the revelatory teaching and some of the most intimate time I’ve ever had with the Lord things were broken (off). My soul was ministered to at such an intimate level. AMAZING! So good!

_______________________________________________________

I had thought I was coping with a very painful past until I came to the Encounter Weekend, but the Lord caught me by surprise! He showed me I was still in deep mourning because I was still carrying the pain, and hadn’t surrendered it completely to Him and let Him carry it for me. After many tears of release, I am transformed and for the first time feel free from that weight and burden, and have a deeper awareness of God’s love and felt t the love of God and the acceptance of my brethren here at Prayer Mountain.

_______________________________________________________

I came unable to step over the line into the Holy of Holies. By the end of the day – God was showing me all the dark places and they had turned unto gold. We were told to ask the Lord what key word was for today. Mine was “lonely”. By the end of the day – I was invited to stay in a cabin with 3 other ladies. What a blessing! It was so good to fellowship with the saints!

_______________________________________________________

During my Sozo session I got more freedom in my life – praise God! During the Saturday praise and worship session, I got freedom in my praise! The entire Saturday was great (I was only there for one day) and I had an amazing time. Keep doing what you are doing!

_______________________________________________________

I got set free! I got a prophetic message! I got rid of some lies and got truth to replace it! Thanks for being faithful to God’s call! Bless you! ALL OF IT was great! THANKS!

_______________________________________________________

Also, I wanted to share about a healing I received during the encounter week-end. I love to dance before the Lord — especially during a prophetic drumbeat. (wow that sound was amazing!!) For several years I have not be able to fully enter in to such worship due to my feet ( heel spurs and plantar fasciitis) and other age related issues. The last time I abandoned myself in the dance, it caused a great flair up that lasted for years and made just plain walking very painful. So even being able to enter in and dance with all my heart was a miracle. The next day I heard "You will pay the price for that" and then I heard "NO, I PAID THE PRICE FOR THAT!!!l The light went on and I knew the Lord was setting me free. I have had no heel pain — in fact it feels like I have new heel pads on the bottom of my heels. YAY God!

The only pain left in my feet was a pain in one of my big toes. During the Friday night healing storm, Schlyce called out healing of toes and that was healed! Catherine prayed for that, and since then other body aches and pains have greatly diminished. Oh yeah, I was healed of shoulder pain on Friday, too! The goodness of God is flooding my body! Thank you JESUS!!! Thanks and many blessings to you, and everyone at Prayer Mtn! — What a treasure you all are!

One more neat thing: during the encounter week end I had a recurring headache in the mornings; but as soon as I walked into the building it would diminish and be completely gone within 10-15 minutes. This happened all three days.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay in posting. It's been a crazy couple of weeks here in the Pikes Peak region. As you probably know, the waldo canyon fire started on Saturday June 23rd. The highway leading into Woodland Park, where Prayer Mountain, CO is located was closed for over a week while the fire raged. As of today, over 18,000 acres burned, 2 people lost their lives, and 348 homes were destroyed.

Most of Woodland Park was evacuated for most of last week. Prayer Mountain was closed except for daily times of prayer and worship.

But the purpose of today's post and video is not fire related. I actually wanted to update you on the 40 day fast that God called me into on June 22nd, the day before the fire (no coincidence I think). Check out this video for the update. But more importantly, please listen so that I can pray for you. Mid way through the recording, I just felt led to pray for anyone who was watching. It's a prayer for God to manifest himself in a greater way in your life. I felt his heavy sweet presence as I prayed. I hope you do as well!

Enjoy!

Galen and I wrapped up our 21 days of worship yesterday and all I can say is that it has been one amazing journey. Galen and I have been totally undone and wrecked during our times of worship. The Lord revealed himself in such a powerful way to both of us. Going into it, God told us we'd never be the same and I know both of us can tell that something has dramatically shifted – namely us.

In addition to personal transformation, one other key thing the Lord has been doing during the last 21 days, is really solidifying and forming the the vision of Prayer Mountain, CO in our hearts. These last 21 days have proven to be a very strategic time for birthing the vision. As you may know, Prayer Mountain, CO has only been in existence a very short time. We officially launched in September of 2011. Previously, the ministry was comprised of a church and a prayer house called The Lift (click here to read the press release). But in September, we officially became Prayer Mountian, CO.

Since then, we have been really focused on building a solid foundation and seeking the Lord on how to move forward. During the last 21 days, the Lord clearly has steered us toward focusing on one thing – hosting His presence through worship and prayer. While the last 21 days have centered on worship, this morning the Lord spoke to me in a vision about what's next – 40 days of focused, spirit-led prayer and fasting. I am still unpacking the vision, and hopefully will be released to share some about it in the future, but I am so excited about what God is showing me. I shared some with Galen today, and he is also excited about what the Lord is revealing. We're totally comitted to following Holy Spirit whereever he leads us!

For this week, we're scheduled to do a 2 hour worship and prayer set everyday (click here for the schedule). We're not sure exactly when we'll start into the 40 days this week, but we're confident the Lord will show us exactly how to navigate through it just like he did for our 21 days of worship. I'm so pumped and thankful that the Lord is leading us step by step with explicit instructions. I can't wait to see what He shows us tonight. We're worshipping at 8:00 p.m. if you'd like to join us!

The journey continues and I'm enjoying every second of it!

We wrapped up our 21 day worship journey today and all I can say is wow! I don't remember a more awesome time in my walk with the Lord. Worshipping at least two hours a day changes you from the inside out. I found myself more spiritually sensitive than ever. I was able to walk through situations and circumstances with a much better sense of God's presence.

In fact, God's presence has become a sort of escape of me. It's amazing how no matter what kind of day you're having, as soon as you get into His presence, everything that was bothering you just melts away. I'm convinced more than ever that worship is probably the most powerful form of spiritual warfare. And what's so awesome about it, is that you are fighting for intimacy not fighting for the devil. I heard Graham Cooke say one time that all spiritual warfare is a battle for intimacy. Now more than ever I recognize that to be true.

Intimacy is the ultimate place of safety, victory, and rest. No matter what was going on or how I felt emotionally or physically going into worship, within minutes of entering into his presence, I would rise to a completely different place. My spiritual eyes would open and I would see situations from a completely difference perspective. Faith would rise in my heart, prayer from a position of strength would rise from within. It really was amazing.

One of the things that was really imprinted upon my heart during the last several days is that this journey we've been on is really a never ending journey of love. It's been awesome to have the love of God revealed in new and deeper ways during this time. It's changed me and made me even hungrier for more change. I find my life is becoming simplier, which honestly is so powerful. One of the songs we sang about today was all about how God poured out his blood for love. He died for love. He died for me. He died for you. He died so that we could be together forever. He died so that he could be with us. It's overwhelming to really experience it. I think I sang about love more than any other topic during our 21 day journey. And I believe that it will more and more the focus of my life from this day forward.

One thing I know is that both Galen and I are not ready to quit. We have worship scheduled every day this week too. Can't stop when it's your life line.

Looking foward to what's next!

Thought it was time that we heard from Galen. It's been awesome to worship with him on a daily basis and see watch what God is doing. I love his freedom in worship and the fact that he is experiencing revelation about intimacy with Jesus that is so unique. I can't wait to see what the Lord does as we continue our journey. Enjoy!

Thought you'd enjoy hearing about how our worship journey is touching others. Each day we're finding more and more people are joining us during our worship set. People are pouring their heart out in worship. We are crying together, laughing together, praying together, and overall just letting the Lord touch us however He sees fit.

In this video, Christine shares her experience. She's been trying to convince us that we're supposed to take our worship on the road into the "beer joints." I love it. Not sure if those places are ready for us though. We might be to wild for them (wink).

Enjoy Christine's video and make plans to come out this weekend. We'll be worshipping on Thursday at 6:00 p.m., Friday at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 8:00 a.m., and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. It's going to be a full weekend of worship for sure.

Can't wait to see what God does next.
